Brandon Stander Joins Lumosity as Vice President of Marketing

Experienced Digital and Product Marketer to Head Marketing at Leading Brain Training Company

San Francisco, Calif. -- February 21, 2017 -- Lumos Labs, the makers of Lumosity, announced today that Brandon Stander has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing. Well-versed in digital and product marketing, Stander will lead Lumosity’s marketing organization and oversee all aspects of the function in the company’s global operations.

“Brandon’s depth of marketing and leadership experience, coupled with his passion for Lumosity products, makes him the ideal candidate to head our marketing team,” said Steve Berkowitz, CEO of Lumosity. “He will be instrumental in broadening our marketing efforts and driving effective campaigns as we look to expand Lumosity’s product offerings in 2017.”

Stander brings 15 years of technology marketing and product experience, including extensive experience in the gaming industry. Prior to joining Lumos Labs, he led Digital Marketing at Sony PlayStation, where he was responsible for marketing across digital channels, including PlayStation.com, PlayStation Blog, CRM, Loyalty, Integrated Marketing, Community and Social. Previously at PlayStation, Stander led Membership Marketing and the re-launch of PlayStation Plus, driving triple-digit growth in the premium subscription business. He came to PlayStation from Microsoft, where he led global brand management and subscription marketing for Xbox LIVE, directed strategic planning efforts at MSN and held global games product management roles. Earlier in his career, Stander worked as a management consultant. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
